- IL&FS Securities Services Limited (ISSL) is one of the leading Professional Clearing Member (PCM) on the following Segments / Exchanges :
- Equity Derivatives Segment (F&O Segment) of National Stock Exchange (NSE), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE),MCX Stock Exchange (MCX-SX) and Debt Segment of National Stock Exchange of India Ltd
- Currency Derivatives Segment of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), MCX Stock Exchange (MCX-SX) and United Stock Exchange (USE)
- Interest Rate Derivatives Segment of National Stock Exchange (NSE)
- As a PCM, ISSL provides clearing and settlement services to the following categories of clients :
- Trading Members (TMs) of the aforementioned Exchanges
- Constituents (CPs) consisting of:
- High Networth Individuals (HNIs)
- Domestic Body Corporates (DBCs)
- Domestic Banks and Financial Institutions (FIs)
- Mutual Funds (MFs)
- Non Resident Indians (NRIs)
- Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)
through the Custodial Participant Code (CP Code) facility provided by the respective Exchange
- Functions as a Clearing Member
- Risk Management - Online monitoring of margin utilization, instant alerts on utilization crossing predetermined trigger, monitoring of possible violation of position limits, etc
- Collateral Management - Active management of collaterals placed towards margin requirements. Alerts of forthcoming BG expiry, FD maturity and Book Closures / Record Dates
- Clearing & Settlement - Computation of end client level MTM Profit / Loss, Premium obligation and Open Positions. Funds settlement at TM level
- Reporting - In addition to the mandatory reports, ISSL provides several other reports, designed as per the needs of the broking community, to help you monitor and manage your clients efficiently
- Custodial Participants - Trade matching, margin monitoring, position limits monitoring and customized reporting
- Advantage ISSL
- ISSL does not undertake proprietary trading, directly or indirectly. You are, hence, safe from exposure to the unnecessary risk due to the CM’s proprietary positions and from your trading strategies being replicated
- Unlike Trading cum Clearing Members (TCMs), ISSL does not have trading rights. ISSL, hence, does not compete with its own clients, the TMs of the Exchange
- Further, since ISSL is not a Bank, you would not be required to shift your banking accounts as ISSL would facilitate funds settlement through your existing Bank itself, an institution with whom you have nurtured relationship with over the past several years
- ISSL believes that you are the master of your trade. It respects your entrepreneurial capabilities. Hence, it does not advocate any trading strategy or provide any research report
